I handed out 4 things in the first week: the course profile (you should read this document carefully), the study guide (this gives an outline of the intended topics), assignment 1, and the workbook. If you missed the lecture, let me know and I will bring a copy of the workbook for you. It is very important that you bring the workbook to every class.
For those of you who do not own a copy of the text book, or who have an old edition, here are the relevant pages for assignment 1.
I handed out a practice mid semester test this week. See how you go.
Don’t forget the first mid-semester exam is next Tuesday, August 23. The exam will be held in the usual lecture room first thing (9am start) so please try to be on time.
