Final Examination The final examination is scheduled by the University; we get no say at all as to when it will be held. Also, we are not allowed to let anyone sit the exam at any time apart from the one officially scheduled by the University. There is no point asking us to do so. The final exam will be held on Wednesday 23 June at 2.30pm. Check the official timetable for rooms. The exam is worth 55% of your grade for MATH1040 students (and 50% for MATH7040 students), will run for 120 minutes, and in addition there will be 10 minutes perusal time. More details are given in the course profile. The exam will cover the entire semester’s content with the exception of Chapters 4 and 5. There will be an emphasis on work covered in Chapters 6-15.
