3. To determine if these statements are true or false, you might like to draw Venn diagrams for the left-hand side and the right-hand side of each statement and compare the diagrams. For example, in part d) you could shade the area representing A Ç (BÈ Ac) on one Venn diagram and then shade the area representing
A Ç B on another diagram and check if they are the same.

If you do not want to use Venn diagrams, you could translate the statements using the logical connectives and quantifiers of Chapters 1 and 2, and then use truth tables to determine if the statements are true or false.

If you think that a statement might be false, try looking for a counter-example to support your claim.
