4. The sequence  -4, 9, -16, 25, ... can be written as  - 2², 3², - 4², 5², ... . Let X be the set of integers greater than or equal to 2 and Y be the set of integers. Then the function f: XY, where f(x) = (-1)^x-1 x², for all xX, describes the sequence -4, 9, -16, 25, ... .
